I have been doing obedience since I started with my first sheltie, Koa, in 1982 in Hawaii. I have since continued through what is now dog #10
and have been privileged to have trained with some of the best handlers/trainers in obedience in the Mid-West.

My agility started about 30 years ago when the only venues were NADAC and USDAA which was long before AKC was involved. I competed
through these venues along with UKC and then on to AKC where I am still participating. We are fortunate that there are elite handlers & instructors
in both of these performance events here in the Mid-West that we can take advantage of.

Besides the performance areas, I also show in conformation which I enjoy very much.
