Comments: I got my first Rottweiler 20 years ago, and have had four of them. I still have Lindy, age 8, who is retired from all sports because if injury. My Rottweilers all titled in obedience, agility and tracking. Brandy became a champion tracker, and Sassy earned her MX & MXJ. After Lindy was injured, I was privileged to be able to show one of my instructor’s BCs and a student’s Flat Coated Retriever. At the urging of my instructor, I entered the “dark side” and got a Border Collie, Ricki. Ricki (dob 3-4-2012) and I are beginning our journey into the wonderful world of competition. We enjoy agility and obedience, and will probably add tracking to our list of sports in the future.

I have been teaching agility at WAG on Tuesday mornings for over 10 years.  I love watching my students improve their skills and communication with their partners. I attend seminars, take instruction with the area’s best instructors, and read/study to try to stay current in the dog training world (obedience & agility). I bring back to my students what I have learned.
