Welcome to WAG Agility

WAG is a non-profit agility club full of hard-working, knowledgeable volunteers. We are proud to offer a variety of training and competition opportunities. Our clean, spacious training center is located approximately 1 hour SW of Milwaukee and 1 hour NW of Chicago. Classes are open to the public and we welcome new students of all levels, from beginner to advanced, as well as dogs of all sizes, breeds and mixed breeds. WAG is currently licensed for UKC, AKC, CPE and TDAA agility trials. More information is available under Events and on our Calendar.

History

WAG was founded in 1999 by former instructors and students from the Four Paws Training Center (now Fosters) in Antioch Illinois. When Four Paws decided to return to its roots as an obedience training center, WAG members sprang into action and started their own club.

For our first two class sessions, WAG operated in a 5000 square foot training center in McHenry, Illinois, near the intersection of Route 31 South and Route 120. In January of 2000, we relocated to our current home in Spring Grove, Illinois.

In its ‘Four Paws’ days, WAG’s primary focus was on UKC agility. Students and instructors now train and compete successfully in UKC, AKC, CPE, TDAA, UKI and USDAA agility venues.
